NEW RESEARCH: 9 out of 10 People Who Excercise Don’t Go to Heaven
I am passionate about health and nutrition. I believe that a large chunk of the suffering in the world can be alleviated if people had access to knowledge on better lifestyle choices in these areas. However, I think these matters are secondary.
In the Bible, Paul admonishes young Timothy that “bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things.”
I don’t think Paul is saying here not to exercise, but what I do believe he is saying is that it is possible to get priorities out of order. You can spend a lot of time exercising and focusing on your health which have an affect on this temporary life, but miss grander spiritual things that will have eternal implications.
I encourage you to take some time and look not just after your physical state, but look into your spiritual health.
Is your life governed by Truth?
Have you considered the person of Jesus and the demands He makes of you and of the world?
Do you understand who God declares Himself to be?
Reading my next article on health and nutrition may help you live a little longer or enjoy life with more energy or less weight, but passing up this article may cause you to miss out on Treasure much more important than any long life and good health!

Everything you said in that is very true! It’s very sad that people put being so perfect, fit and crazy diet’s first in there lives. If people would put half that effort into their faith the world would be a happier and healthier place to live in.
