The Biggest Weight Loss Secret EVER!!
Okay, hopefully this isn’t a secret for you, but it is so often overlooked.
One of the easiest ways to cut calories is to simply DRINK WATER! If its not water, DON’T DRINK IT! I don’t care if it is 0 calories or 10 calories or diet or whatever. DRINK WATER! If you don’t like the taste, then add some fresh fruit such as lemon slices or orange slices to a pitcher of water.
This is a great way to make a positive lifestyle change. If you never drink water, start with a glass a day with some fresh squeezed lemon or a slice of orange. If you normally drink 2 sodas a day, cut it back to 3-4 a week and drink water as a replacement. If you typically drink juice each day, cut it back to twice a week and drink water with a squeeze of fresh fruit instead.
The ideal, of course, is if its not water, GET IT OUT OF YOUR HOUSE! Get rid of sodas (diet or anything), and even juices. MOST JUICES HAVE GOBS OF ADDED SUGAR THAT WILL ONLY CAUSE YOU TO GAIN WEIGHT. They are not healthy in the overall sense of health.
By not having it in your house, this will help you to drink it in moderation, and make a positive lifestyle change. I’ll be honest, I drink sodas (GASP!) But I do this occasionally (about once or twice a month) and they taste good! I really enjoy them, but I don’t keep them in my house, and my overall lifestyle is one where I drink water. I encourage you to make a positive lifestyle change in the right direction, that may not mean you get them out of your house, but cut back. Make a lifestyle change on what you drink on a daily basis even if you don’t hit the ideal!
